pop! goes my heart!

Is simonette’s ER issue the hottest news yet?! Yeah yeah. I was falsely rushed to the ER last Friday cause of my immediate diagnosis: acute appendicitis. Almost rushed by the way, but not quite for Ivan and I were walking not that rush then. My stomach or most probably whole digestive was in pain like someone had implanted a pain machine in it. Dr. Godito, the doctor in charge by that time made me lie down and examine my in pain parts and immediately diagnosed me with acute appendicitis. The diagnosis itself rang the alarm and I cried like my fairly dark toenails were going to die once more. And what made the scene worse were these two medical technology interns named Ivan D. Lacson and Erwin Meim who unprofessionally extracted me blood through finger prick. But I absolutely salute the two for taking care of me though. Salamat sa inyo…

And then came the resident doctor from surgery ward asking me if I’d want to be confined in the National CHILDREN’s Hospital or prefer other hospital. The hospital didn’t actually admit or consider someone like me who was old enough not to be called a child anymore. They called my house, talked to my bro and looked for my mom who was currently on an errand then. They too, rushed themselves into the hospital with my two college shirts, one pj, nike jacket and a pair of undies. What the heck will I do with the jacket anyways? Haha! Just kidding… Salamat mommy and kuya…

Thanks to all who showed concern even though it was just a fecalit: a shit that ran its side on my appendix, which caused the pain, and then just went with my large intestine’s contraction, went with the flow in other words.

To you, thank you…
